So apparently this afternoon is our first real threat for serious tornadoes and large hail. I didn't know about it until the dental assistant told me about it. She lives in Moore and was hoping to leave early today to run to her storm shelter. The apartment folks told us to go to the ground level of the parking garage when a serious storm hits us. Poor Taylor is alone today of all days. JC leaves for San Antonio and will not be back for awhile. I told Taylor she can stay with us tonight if it comes to that. I survived the first phase of the procedure. There is plenty of stitching in my mouth. The doctor will remove the stitches in a couple weeks but I am supposed to leave the temporary crown on for another three months until my bone grows. At that point, she will determine whether she can place the implant but there is no guarantee. I kept putting this procedure off because it is never a good time. Right now is not a good time either but oh well. We all survived the marathon relay. It wasn't so bad. We actually finished based on the estimated time. My leg of the race was fun in the beginning but boring in the second half. All I had was the lake and the strong wind to contend with. It was nice running into the finish line with my teammates. P, congrats on the new job!
