The so called blizzard was uneventful. We got lucky. The storm made its way to Boston instead. Nevertheless, it
was a nice day off from the daily routine. I actually worked from home for a couple hours before getting pho at Pho
Bang. It was the only restaurant open on the block. I went to the gym because they finally opened. I packed my
belongings and deep cleaned my place. For dinner, I made chicken salad using left over baked chicken from the night
before. Nelson made some matcha tea. It was quite relaxing to have tea instead of wine. Paul almost beat me in
Words With Friends. We are pretty much neck to neck at this point. KNT and I finally scheduled a time to meet.
It's dinner time at her place. No need to step out of your apartment to walk in the nasty weather huh? The sun is out
and the wind is not too harsh. I found a nice big basket in the building. The basket will be of great use for
the next coming weeks.

Happy Birthday, Loan! You and I are the same age for only a few months.

It's almost the weekend. For a short work week, my team and I managed to accomplish a lot. It was all about
spitting emails out left and right. When we get responses, look at the information and follow up if needed. If nothing
else is needed, thank them for their time. We have an open meeting this morning that should be quick and easy.
Agnes backed out at the last minute. Travel plans for London and Prague are booked. Abu Dhabi is in progress.
The apartment sublet is also a work in progress. I feel like there are a lot of moving parts. It's all about
planning and more planning.

I spent the entire weekend vegging out. Sunday was really bad. The rain kept coming and would not let up.
Other than dim sum with Nelson and Chau, I went back to my place and hibernated. The gym and yoga were on the agenda,
but I couldn't get myself to walk in the pouring rain. Laundry was also postponed due to bad weather. So what
ended up happening was a marathon of all of the above took place on MLK Day. I even squeezed in a good 20 minute nap.
I cannot do two hour naps anymore. The 20 minute ones work just fine. I finished the book that Chi Mai gave me.
It was a fast and easy read. I like the different characters in the movie and how they represent Vietnam life in
post 1975 up until the near present. I went back to 1Q84, which has to be the longest reading attempt to date.
I think I got it as a Christmas present 3 or 4 years ago. I have a few more chapters to finish. I like the whole
story but the author keeps repeating himself so he can remind the reader what's going on. If he made the book a lot
shorter, we wouldn't have to be reminded. My goal this calendar year is to be done with this book. I was not given
a slice of banana bread even though I asked for it. Mr. Jonas was kicked off of the show after two episodes. Geraldo
is a total diva. I get it that he has experience, but don't be a jerk about it. He is the Kenya Moore of the men's
team. Kate has a totally different face.

My awesome bud from back in the day came to the rescue. I think the vendor can work with the image he created.
I have no clue when it comes to image resolution, etc. It seems so complicated.

Great game to say the least...it was fumble after fumble. Oregon kept getting those yellow flags. Who needs
cable TV when you can just use your sister's cable tv login to stream it live. We are hoping to do the same thing
for the Super Bowl. Nelson did some checking and I think we are good to go for NBC Sports.
I didn't get a chance to finish the latest episode of The Good Wife. The crooked Lee lawyer will return as the
firm's partner. He really does know what he's doing with divorces. Chi Mai has to wait on her roommate to get the
latest season. Otherwise she will skip like six episodes and start with the more recent episodes. This week
starts my new routine for the next 10 weeks or so. Let's see if I can keep it up. I should have biked this morning
but I was too lazy. The weather was cool, and not cold. The subway was a mad house. People waiting at the 14th Street
station were 10 deep into the platform. The staircase leading up to the upper platform was completely full with
people waiting to go down. The later half of January should be mild. I will try to avoid the subway
as much as possible.

I walked to work today worried about my right eye. It was blurry for the one right eye, but not the left eye.
Granted I have contacts on for both eyes. So, I pushed forward thinking the blurriness will disappear if I keep
moisturizing my eye with my tears. After I got to the office, I decided that it was too uncomfortable to have one blurry eye. I took out my
eye contacts. When I took out the left one, my vision was no longer blurry. It was actually very clear. When I took out the right one, it was blurry. To make a long story short, I was
wearing two eye contacts on my right eye. This was why it was blurry in that one eye. It didn't help that I walked
through heavy snow this morning and having to deal with the two contacts in one eye. What a great start to my Friday!

I'm back and I don't want to be back.
