Yesterday was a busy day for everyone. I didn't get home until about 6pm or so. When I arrived, Carrie and Tess
were already preparing dinner. Sharon was grilling...I think. I had to run a couple errands and be back for dinner.
This morning after the gym, I picked up breakfast from McDonald's, filled up my car with gas, stopped by the Chase ATM
for cash this weekend, and stopped by Homeland to pick up protein packed food and snacks. The locally made
beef jerky that they sell at Homeland and Uptown Grocery is by far the best in the city. I thought Robertsons was
good but Hardtimes beef jerky is so much better. They only sell them at select stores. Also, Laughing Cow's high protein
ice cream sandwiches are so rare. I can't even find the vanilla ones anymore. I settled for the chocolate on
chocolate ice cream sandwiches. Paul dropped his phone in the toilet so he's out of commission for awhile. He can
probably go to AT&T to get his number pointed to a cheap device on the floor. He can use that until the insurance
sends him a replacement. The damaged phone is sitting in rice now so hopefully that will help in bringing it back to life.
Tammy, great photo of me in the subway! The backpack does resemble the one I had...or used to have until it was
stolen. Khoi, come out here to catch up on sleep. You only need to show up for the wedding!

I managed to get a lot done yesterday. Who would have thought working from your hotel room would be so productive?
I took a break and went to Walmart to pick up some snacks and wine. I walked out of there with too much stuff and will
likely take home a lot of the snacks. There is no way Tess and I can finish all of it. We will share with the
other ladies from our group. The Hard Rock Casino is quite depressing. Darwina said the clientele at this casino
is a bit more trashy than the ones at River Spirit. I saw the difference when I arrived. It was filled with smoke
and people were just throwing their money away in the middle of the day. How do people gamble all day and not
work? A few of them were walking with canes so I assume they are on disability. The theater itself is nice. It's about
the same size as River Spirit's auditorium. Our girl Cosette kicked it out of the ballpark with her on-stage question.
She had an opinion and she stuck to it. She won rookie talent in her group from the night before. This is a big win
for her and will add to her overall score. I have another full day of work before heading out to watch Aariah kick
some outstanding teen's butt!

Marci and I are on this speaking tour to spread the gospel of business continuity and disaster recovery. The
presentation we do now is more of a banter between the two of us. Think of a podcast with two people and we bounce
ideas off of one another. I have a couple more days of work and I'm off to Tulsa for Miss Oklahoma. We need to support
our OCU girls. They are going to kill it.

I'm no longer running the chapter and have fulfilled my duties. The officer transition meeting on Friday went well.
The new officers need to finish out the programming for the year. I need to make a couple adjustments for Sammi.
The wallpaper business at the house is done. The next task is to remove all of the carpet in the house. I'll see
if I can knock it out this week before heading to Tulsa.
