Loan, how was the movie? Did you cry? I am drinking iced coffee as we speak. Well, it's actually
"cafe sua da". I am so jumpy I can barely sit down. Now I know why people drink coffee. Never give out your SSN to anyone! I don't think I have
anything else to say. Oh, Joel (Dallas) is Sanjaya! All that obsession with his hair is ridiculous. The kid cannot sing. All you Indians need to vote
for folks who can really sing. Maybe I shouldn't say that. If there was a viet on American Idol, I would probably vote for him/her even if he/she
cannot sing. It's sickening!

BRAD, BRAD, BRAD, BRAD, BRAD, BRAD, BRAD, BRAD, BRAD, and BRAD! Should
I expect a lawsuit in the coming weeks? You got nothing over me. The same goes for everyone else. This is all mine! LOL
Last night was a lot of fun. I will not disclose any details. Let's just say I really hate Dell. It freakin sucks! :-)

My neighbor who passed out on the staircase was up and walking yesterday. We
bumped into one another as we walked home. He was released from the hospital the same night he was taken to the emergency
room. I'm glad to see he is doing okay. He will stay with his sister in Long Island for a few days until he fully recovers.
I don't know how he can live on the fifth floor of a walk-up building. I even lose my breath every now and then. Last night's
episode of "Lost" was pretty awesome. Although it did not reveal much about the island, it was a very creative story. The
best scene was when Nikki woke up after being paralyzed for eight hours. It was obviously too late for her! I like how the
best scene ends up during the last two minutes of the show.

Joel and TL, sorry for the "technical difficulties". At least we got to eat some cheap
supermarket food, ate some vinegar chips, and got to scope out the ivy undergrads. Joe, congratulations on E&Y! When I got
home last night, my next door neighbor passed out on the staircase at the third floor. It took me a few minutes to wake him
up. He is overweight so it was difficult for him to get up. He actually fell and could not get up. I called 911 and an ambulance
came to haul him down to New York Hospital. My other neighbor across the hall was now able to identify that Joe and I are two different
people.

Thank you for your message.

Text messaging no longer costs $0.10 per message. It is now $0.15 per message.
I refuse to pay the ridiculous fee. Therefore, I have disabled text messaging from my account. If you wish to contact me,
please e-mail or call me. Otherwise, your text message will not make it to my phone. Sorry if I am cheap, but I would rather
use my dimes and nickels for the laundromat. Cheers!

I just saw the movie, "Journey From the Fall". It was definitely a tearjerker. TL was
sniffing throughout the movie. I am not a comrade! For all you local people, Associated Supermarket (Morton Williams) is the
best market in town. Pay attention to their weekly specials. I got Oreos for $1.99 (regular price is $4.59). Not bad, eh? It's
just a great feeling when you save at the grocery store. I hate D'AGNYC! They are way overpriced! Addison, good luck with
school and don't forget to have fun! Does anyone care who gets to be the next Pussycat Doll? I heard Aishwarya Rai married
a tree to ward off bad luck before getting married to Abhishek Bachchan. What is up with that? Back to Central Plant tomorrow!
March 24, 2007
Troi oi la troi! TL, much props to you babe. I think last night was an awesome preview to
your "banquet". Loan, I'm glad you are doing well. It's nice to know I can always count on you to be early. Oliver, you will get
yours soon. Rob, sorry you missed your game. My head is pounding. When I got home last night, there was a girl passed out
on the sidewalk. Her male friend was next to her on his cellphone calling an ambulance. I hope she was okay. Yes, I still hate
to drink. Never again! Ronald et al, I hope you guys made it home safely. Brad, how was the couch?
March 23, 2007
"Excedrin is the best medicine," said Dr. Schwack. Do something, Chang! Have fun
in Boston, TL! I was going to show you off as my domesticated housewife, but maybe next time. Loan, are you still alive?
Hoa, I don't want to hear any more reasons.
March 22, 2007
Jack was not brainwashed after all! The best scene was when John's dad pushed him
off of the building. That was very unexpected! Did you hear the crackling noise as he landed on the ground? That was pretty
sweet. As I was walking home from H&M, I bumped into Pat O'Brien. He was walking
vicariously on Park Ave. at 51st St. Pat is the guy who hosts those celebrity gossip shows. It was sort of a celebrity sighting, but
not so much. The Queen Latifah sighting in Soho was pretty cool. I ran into her early last summer as she was shopping with
a buddy. They were just walking in Soho minding their own business. Brad ran into Kiefer Sutherland not too long ago. Kiefer
was smoking a cigarette and literally bumped into Brad. Kiefer said, "Excuse me".

Effective in July, I will no longer live in the swankiest zip code in Manhattan. Two
new zip codes will be created to divide the current 10021 zip code into three separate zip codes. My new zip code will be 10075.
Don't go updating your address book just yet. I will send a reminder notice to all of you later this summer...all two of you
out there who snail mail me stuff. "Journey From the Fall" opens this Friday in New York and California. The film will be
released the week after in Texas. Check your local listings!
March 20, 2007
Hong, I got your announcement. Congratulations to you and Winnie! I will definitely
try to make it. Carolyn, are you cool with our plan? It will give me a reason to visit DFW. Mandarin class is going well. My
classmate and I bumped into another student who is taking the fourth Mandarin class. She said they have homework that
averages six hours each week. That's insane! For those who are fluent in Mandarin, I often say, "Wo bu ming bai, ni shuo shenme?"
Geri, sorry for the constant Mandarin e-mails. Dennis has taken you off of our list. Sorry!

Yesterday, TL stalked Joe and me at a Chinatown Starbucks. We ate banh mi at Paris
Bakery. They had the best banh mi xiu mai. Plus, the place was very clean and reminded me of Lee's Sandwiches. We then
went to Bobst to study all day. We got tired of studying later that afternoon and did some "loitering". First it was pommes
frites. Then we gulped down some very cold drinks in extremely cold weather. They met Kerry at the office. We pushed the
black cube at Astor Place. Did some posing at B&N. TL left with Rob. Yumiko came and we went to a yakitori place for her
birthday. It was a nice day to end Winter!
March 18, 2007
Brad and I were supposed to eat at Anh last night, but the place closed down due
to new management. The sign says it will re-open as an asian fusion restaurant. We ended up eating at this comfort food
restaurant down the street. It was excellent as usual. I keep forgetting the name of the place, but it's a bakery/sandwich
shop with homemade food. And of course...the city was infected with drunk people in green attire.
March 17, 2007
I used to do my laundry every Saturday morning, but that's been bumped back to
Friday nights. It's not a bad deal. After laundry is done, I have the night and all my weekend to study. Yes, I said study!
Part III of the CIA exam is coming up in May. Between now and then, I will be studying non-stop. Joe is studying for his first
part of the CFA exam, which takes place in June. I will keep you all posted on how the studying is coming along. Oh, and
Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Izzy and George may have slept together? It's about time. Man, I feel like
a big couch potato. It's those surgeons at Seattle Grace...they have too much time on their hands. From what I know and
hear from Brad, he does not have time to even walk down the street and meet up for coffee. Oh well, the drama continues in
real life and in Seattle. Julie, the song below is for you. Enjoy!
March 15, 2007
Claire and Jack are siblings! Was Jack brainwashed or has he been in on it all this
time?
March 14, 2007
I got a phone call from Ron last night at 11:30PM. I normally don't pick up telephone
calls that late, but I figured it must have been an emergency. It turns out that Ron had something quick to say but got off the
phone immediately knowing that I was asleep. I don't think folks here in New York know that I get in bed by 10PM. Yes, I
need to live a little, right? Well, I tend to wake up early and get to work early so that leaves me with "going to sleep early".
Ron, if you are reading this, the cutoff time to call me is 10PM. LOLOL Now, what was it you wanted to tell me last night?
March 13, 2007
Daylight savings time came early this year. For the first time in a long time, the
alarm woke me up in the morning as opposed to me waking up on my own. Give me a couple weeks and my body will adjust
to the new time.
March 12, 2007
Winter will go away soon. The high for this week will be in the upper 50s to
low 60s. It was a pleasant walk from the train station today. A slight breeze with a mix of sunshine and clouds. ..sheesh, I'm starting
to sound like one of those weather guys and gals. I did, however, take a meteorology class back in undergrad!

Mira Nair's "The Namesake" opened in New York with a big bang. All shows on its
opening night were sold out. We managed to get tickets to last night's final screening at 10:20PM when we showed up
at the theater at 6PM. The movie was beautifully made and focused mainly on the female lead. I was expecting the movie to
center around Kal Penn's character Gogol. Anyways, it was good and I highly recommend it. When the movie ended, the lights
came on in the theater and a guy walked down the aisle with a mic in his hand saying, "Thank you for watching the Namesake
and here to talk about the movie is Kal Penn." We were all surprised because here is Kal Penn talking to us and thanking us
for watching his movie. He ended up taking questions from the audience for approximately 30 minutes. He is currently
filming the sequel to "Harold & Kumar" in Shreveport, LA. The movie should be released in 2008. After Kal Penn left, we found
him outside in the street with his small entourage waiting to get in a car. I asked if he could take pictures and he gladly
accepted. He was a very friendly guy, not your typical Hollywood snob...not yet, at least! Thank you to Oliver for keeping a
camera handy!
March 10, 2007
Carolyn, you saved yourself from being eliminated earlier this morning! Your sweet
voice made my day. Glad to see they moved you out of Accounting I. I also learned from yesterday's ordeal with someone (who shall
remain nameless) that I am my own person. Just stay firm and stand for what you believe in! Alright, I'll get off my soapbox
now. I'm watching "The Namesake" later. It should be a good one.

Pet peeve of the day --- SLOW WALKERS who walk on the left side of a sidewalk!
Get out of the way!
March 8, 2007
I'm waiting for this flick to be released here in the states.

Sham introduced me to Mira Nair's "Monsoon Wedding". We were at Virgin Records and the DVD was on sale
for $10. She bought it and highly recommended that I watch the movie. I couldn't stop chanting "Chunari Chunari" after
seeing the movie. Joel then told me about "Devdas". I borrowed the movie from him and fell in love with Aish Rai. Can her
eyes get any more hazel? This was a flashback to how I was thrown into a world of bhangra, bengali moves, "balle balle", colorful costumes, excessive jewelry, and pujas!

I am going to try to write something every day so you all can "care" about my existence. As I told Tammy
earlier this year, my new year's resolution is to stop using my debit card for purchases and start using my credit cards to
get cashback. The last debit transaction on my bank statement was to pay my credit card balance. So far so good...
For all you chinofiles out there, check out Su Fei. She is a big inspiration!
