So far, so good...no one has stolen anything and the place is left in good order. I now have an air bed that can be used for additional guests. I even bought a sleeping pad...one that you take with you to go camping. I slept on one of these on the Montauk camping trip and it was quite comfortable. Today's weather is somewhat cool. I wore a windbreaker on my ride to work. Next week will be in the high 80s reaching up to 90. My gym was shut down yesterday due to no power. The gym appears to be closed again today. I hope they are making up that excuse as they renovate the inside. The interior needs some serious sprucing up. I went to the Mercer St. location instead. It is a whole new world just a few blocks away at the Mercer location. Every equipment is new including the swanky locker room. People really put the weights back where they belong. Not so much at the Soho location! It really pisses me off when patrons do not return the equipment to where they belong. May is pretty much gone. I am ready for June to get here.

I'm all out of instant oatmeal this morning. I was too lazy to step out and get something so I ended up eating raw ramen noodles with cashews. You can't go wrong with dry salty ramen to start your day. Eat it from a cup so people will think you're drinking coffee.

Eddie and his wife are expecting a boy. They already know what to name the kid. Apparently, the middle name will be Lin...as in Jeremy Lin, the basketball player. Eddie is obsessed with Jeremy Lin. My mom confirms that everyone on both sides of our families continues to have boys. There is only one family member with a daughter. Everyone else is producing boys left and right. This will be the fourth nephew for me. I bet Chang will end up getting a boy too. I picked up a bike with messed up brakes. This happens from time to time and it's very annoying. How should I check if the brakes work when unloading it from the docking station? You can only test out the brakes when you take the bike for a ride. I rode the bike to the Puck Bldg station and parked it. I noted the station to fix the bike. I tried taking a new bike out of the same station, but it wouldn't let me. The light kept turning red. I ended up walking to work from the Puck Bldg. It was nice leisurely stroll up Lafayette, 4th Ave, and eventually Park Ave. South. Luckily, they found the hammer wielding guy who roamed the streets of New York. I could have been his next victim. The walnut apple cake came out okay. I didn't understand why I need to insert the mixed apple in between the cake batter. I would have mixed them all into the cake batter. The cake resembles an apple pie with its apple stuffing oozing out of the cake.
