I need to push on through for two more days and I'm home free.
I have been up since 3:30AM and cannot go back to sleep. Granted, I slept at 9:20PM. I tried going back to sleep and kept tossing and turning. I read the newspaper for a little bit and started cleaning the apartment. Before you know it, it was almost 6AM...just in time for the gym to open. I took my time at the gym along with five other people. I biked into work. Today has been cold and windy, but the bike ride was quite nice. As long as I have my gloves, I'm good to go. Your hands get cold very fast. Anh Loc and I met up for lunch. He is in town for a few days from San Jose. We will all try to meet up later tonight. I am unavailable all weekend. I am looking forward to babysitting Junior. Bac Mai bailed out on me because she over planned way in advance. It's good to know I will be on my own. I think I can handle it. The ties situation is getting me nervous. I really don't want to spend that much on a tie, but they are much nicer when you buy the more expensive ones. It looks like I have new neighbors moving in across the street. It should be an interesting living arrangement...so close, yet so far away.
This week has gone by quite fast. I am ending my Thursday and tomorrow is one more day before the weekend. Today's rain would not let up. When it rains, it pours. When it's not raining, we get a very long dry spell. Nicole convinced me to do Soul Cycle with her. I did it the next morning and followed up with yoga after work the same day. I ran into Ms. Li in class and we talked shop a bit. I thought my night ended last night after my errands but I managed to make it out to Long Island after all. I took the later train into the city and went straight to my 9:30 AM meeting. I took Route F back uptown and stayed indoors for the remainder of the day. Nelson said to get stripe ties and don't do patterns.
