Lord, please get me through this week. I can already see the rainbow and a pot of gold waiting for me this weekend. Hi Rihanna! This one is for you, Michael. #stillonrepeat

Jerseylicious is a mess. Why the tearfest? Vivica A. Fox is the "Wendy Williams" of the Style Network. LOL My apartment is freakin cold. Where is my heat? J and I ran across the Manhattan and came back on the Brooklyn. It was a very good run because of the cool, crispy weather. No clouds in the sky. The laundromat was insane. The attendant said I should have stopped by on Saturday when it was dead. Everyone stayed indoors during the snowstorm. I got the names all mixed up. DL is not engaged after all. Sorry, TD! I can't believe I made it out to Elmhurst for Jando's party. It was well worth it. TL drove Chau and I back to one of the stops on the 7 line. We took the last train back into Manhattan. We totally lucked out. I think something happened on the platform before the train came. I woke up just in time for an early breakfast with KNT and NS. She finally got her phone. We can finally text. Precious, make up your mind already. Carrie did with Mr. Big. Why can't you? #justsayin
Chinglish was good, except for the love affair. I felt a bit uncomfortable. Whatever happened to a monogamous marriage? I guess it's pretty much the norm to cheat on your spouse while you are away on business or come into contact with a new associate. The world we live in...other than that, it was quite funny. I wish I know Mandarin because Nelson and Alex were laughing nonstop. I thought I found his phone under the seat. How did he lose it again? Tdanger and I are going as jock and nerd. I didn't see the connection until she pointed it out this morning. I am trying to recruit a third person to be gothic, but still no luck. It is seriously cold. What happened to fall?
I have one more piece to get for my Halloween costume. Sandrine and I are in it together. I'm still not happy with the way I look. If I had more time, I would have tried something else. At the end of the day, who really cares. It's an effed up holiday any way. Apparently, Apple likes to change "ba" to "bA". Upper case on the second letter? Instead of begun, I used started. Thanks, Chang. Carter likes to argue with Grandma. He will not back down. I had trouble sleeping last night because of helicopters hovering over lower Manhattan. Those Wall Street protestors marched uptown to City Hall and caused a ruckus. A brother was trying to get some serious sleep. What about me?...what about Jujubee? The shuttle was packed this morning for whatever reason. I was given my global assignments yesterday. At this point, it is somewhat finalized but not just yet because we have not booked our tickets. I am seriously considering subletting my apartment for the next six months, but I am afraid I'll come back to a roach-infested apartment. Selena and her son will get a stack of my rent checks soon. I'm off to Chinglish tonight. I'm interested to see how they plan on juggling Mandarin and English. Subtitles on the back of every seat like the opera? I don't care about the Princess of China. I only care about the Queen of Vietnam.

I don't know why I even care. I've been too lazy to bike to and from work. I take the shuttle from Kenmare in the morning and from Washington Place going home. The cold weather is approaching and I do not mind riding in a warm bus. The driver was 2 minutes early this morning. I should report her for being early. What happens if someone arrives on time...2 minutes later? Chi Kim stumbled upon us in Central Park. She was with her running team stretching. I shared my banh cam with her and her friend. Chi Mai's bike died not even 5 minutes into the ride. I finally got to see "Something New" again. That movie always reminds me of Ms. Jackson down in Dallas...or should I say Lewisville. Teresa is a mess. She contradicts herself and always has something to say. She is very much on the defense all the time. She reminds me of someone I know who shall remain nameless. Cass and I checked out the grub street food thing at the Hester Street Market. We met up at 10AM when the thing was supposed to begin; however, none of the vendors were ready to take our order. We didn't eat until 11AM. Next time, these festivals need to advertise a later time. We picked up a candle at Anthropologie after chowing down on fried sardines, Spanish potatoes, mac & cheese, and rice balls. I like the smell of grapefruit. My stock of liquor is running low. I am off to running on the west side tonight. I hope to see Viet running barefoot. I think I already mentioned that Perry is an idiot. Obama, step down and let Mrs. Clinton run on the Democratic ticket. A clean streak is better than droplets of weakness.
My sleep pattern has been wacky this past week. I end up going to bed by 9PM and waking up in the middle of the night between midnight and 2AM. I stay up for about an hour and fall back to sleep. The alarm then wakes me up at 6:30AM. I usually sleep through the night and wake up on my own without the alarm, but for some reason, this week has been off. My goal for next week is to go to bed no earlier than 10PM or even 11PM. Hopefully, the later sleep time will keep me asleep throughout the night. Last night was the first night that I closed all of my windows. The apartment was nice and warm...plus, the outside noise was blocked out. Congratulations, Precious! Let's see if you are admitted as a guest student. I'm not happy about your boss's views, but oh well. You guys belong to the same party anyway.
Tevin takes me back...good ole days when everything was simple.
The mandatory meeting/dinner was a success. We were sluggish at first but picked up speed after we got a chance to vent. Viet cooked up some scallops, but the raw oysters remained in the fridge. Luckily I removed the last remaining AC unit. I was able to open the living room's window to let the air out. I can never cook like Viet or Jacq. I don't know how to season my food. Just give me the exact measurements like they do with baking recipes. We chose a not so fancy place for lodging. As long as I have AC, I am set. I am officially fat. I ate a big helping of Chi Mai's che ba mau. Bac Mao called to repeatedly thank me for attending her son's wedding. It was fun to catch up with my cousins after so many years. Congratulations again to Anh Quan and the new Chi Michelle. Gate A14 appeared to be the one assigned to flights coming from EWR. Get to the airport early and see if you can "standby" on an earlier flight. KNT, pick a hobby for me. The oil change joke was pretty funny. Juggling is never fun. I get tired easily. Don't look for me on Facebook because I'm not on there. Stop axing.
I have not given up on Gaga just yet. I have her "Heavy Metal Lover" on repeat. I was inspired at The Standard's Le Bain.
This is the last time Britney sang.
I am super behind with this thing. Where did summer go? I should not be complaining. I never liked hot weather. Perhaps I'll grow to appreciate hot weather when I am in my 50's. As for now, I am enjoying the cool, dry Autumn air. I hear we will get back up into the low 80's this weekend. Some of us don't have off for Columbus Day. On top of that, it's Thanksgiving Day for Canadians. KNT, safe travels back to Montreal if you so happen to go this weekend. CAC504 is kicking my butt. She should go one on one with Jacquals. As a family, we cannot decide where to go during the Christmas break. I suggested Houston since it's the closest big town, but New Orleans is more interesting compared to Houston. It sucks that Steve Jobs died. I wonder whether Apple will continue its money producing streak without Mr. Jobs. I got my annual flu shot yesterday at Kimmel. There was also a vendor fair. I popped my head into the fair after getting my flu shot and didn't see anything interesting. The NYUcard vendor fair is a bit more fun. You sample free food from participating restaurants and they have plenty of raffle giveaways. Larry won a gift certificate to a Cuban place years ago. Joel, good luck with your "cowboys and indians" chase. The twins should stay in their cribs.
