It was a great long weekend in San Antonio. We got to go tubing on the river in New Braunfels and hung out at the
day spa the next day. The Sunday hiking didn't actually pan out. The flight coming back to Oklahoma City was delayed
all afternoon until it was finally cancelled. We had to get back to OKC so we rented a car from the airport and
drove through heavy rain and traffic to get back. There was constant traffic from San Antonio all the way to the
Oklahoma state border. The heaviest traffic was between Austin and Waco. The drive took a total of eight hours
when it should have taken only seven hours. Texan drivers love to hug their left lane. It took a lot of swerving
back and forth on the outer lanes to bypass those fools on the left lane. I'm glad to be home.
